Overview

Rachel Rappaport joins White Brenner LLP  with over ten years of experience as a practicing attorney. After graduating from law school, Rachel worked at small law firms before transitioning into an Assistant Attorney General role with the Washington State Office of the Attorney General. As an Assistant Attorney General, Rachel regularly appeared in court and represented her state agency client in trials and appeals. Rachel was also part of her client agency’s legal headquarters team where she provided advice on a wide range of matters under state and federal law.

Before law school, Rachel developed a passion for creative problem solving through her work in dispute resolution. Although Rachel is an experienced litigator, she is also trained in mediation and works with her clients to find the most efficient and cost-effective ways to resolve disputes. In addition, Rachel has experience helping to improve state agency processes and efficiencies as a performance auditor with the California State Auditor’s Office. Most recently, Rachel investigated discrimination and harassment complainants as an investigator at a large California public university’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Title IX Office.

Rachel has been licensed by the Washington State Bar Association since 2011. Rachel recently passed the California bar exam, and her admission to the California State Bar is pending.

If not a lawyer… would do something involving fitness. I have been a certified personal trainer and running coach for a few years, and it would be great to use my knowledge for something besides my personal fitness journey.
